West Dallas man arrested for aggravated robbery

A man was arrested for aggravated robbery in West Dallas after jumping out of a stolen vehicle, firing at police, and fleeing the scene on foot. The incident occurred near Westmoreland Road and Bickers Street when undercover officers spotted the man inside the stolen car around midnight. The man then pulled out a gun and shot at officers, who were unharmed. He escaped into a wooded creek but was quickly apprehended by K-9 officers. Police believe the suspect will face multiple charges, including aggravated robbery. Photojournalist Terry Van Sickle from FOX 4 spoke with Dallas Police at the crime scene for more information.
