The 33rd season of “Dancing With the Stars” has officially begun, with a new cast of celebrities and returning pros hitting the ballroom floor. Hosted by Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro, the competition is heating up as the contestants prepare to compete for the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. Judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli are back to critique the performances, with no eliminations in the premiere episode.
Some standout routines from the premiere include Olympian Stephen Nedoroscik, actor Chandler Kinney, and former basketball player Dwight Howard. The first episode revealed that no one would be eliminated, giving all the contestants a chance to shine.
Leading the competition after the first night is actor Chandler Kinney and her partner Brandon Armstrong, with a score of 23 out of 30. On the other hand, actor Eric Roberts and partner Britt Stewart received the lowest score with 15 points.
Viewers can vote for their favorite couples on the “Dancing With the Stars” website, with up to 10 votes per person. The next episode will feature a double elimination, so fans are encouraged to tune in and support their favorite dancers as the competition heats up.
