The State Fair of Texas is back, and Texans are gearing up for the delicious food offerings that await them at Fair Park. From unique creations like the Dominican Fritura Dog to the Drowning Taquitos, there is something for every palate at this year’s fair. The Big Tex Choice Award winners for 2024 include the Texas Fried Burnt End Bombs, Nevins Nutty Bar-laska, and the Cotton Candy Bacon on a Stick, showcasing the creativity and variety of fair food. Other new favorites like the Caramel Macchiato Fritters, Churro Crumble Cheesecake, and Hot Cheetos Korean Corn Dog promise to satisfy any food craving.
The fair will also feature classic favorites like Fletcher’s Original Corny Dogs, Turkey Legs, Funnel Cakes, Fried Oreos, and Roasted Corn. In addition to the food offerings, fairgoers can also enjoy ice-carving demonstrations from Chef Pete Nolasco and Cirque du Soleil’s new country music show “Songblazers.”
The State Fair of Texas will run from September 27 to October 20, offering visitors a chance to indulge in delectable treats, experience exciting performances, and create lasting memories.
