NFL suspends Von Miller of the Bills for 4 games due to personal conduct violation

Buffalo Bills edge rusher Von Miller turned himself in to Glenn Heights police on Thursday after being accused of assaulting his pregnant girlfriend. As a result, the NFL has suspended Miller for four games for violating the league’s personal conduct policy. Miller, who is the NFL’s active leader in sacks, is eligible to rejoin the Bills on Nov. 3. This incident stems from an accusation last November when he allegedly assaulted his pregnant girlfriend during the team’s bye week. No charges have been filed, and Miller denies the allegations, stating they were blown out of proportion.

The 35-year-old Miller has had a successful career, with 126 1/2 sacks tying him for 17th on the all-time list. He has been an integral part of the Bills’ defense, recording three sacks in four games this season. However, his absence will be felt as the team prepares to face the Houston Texans this Sunday. The Bills have filled Miller’s roster spot by signing defensive tackle Zion Logue off the Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad.

Despite the suspension and legal troubles, Miller remains focused on football and his family. He expressed gratitude for being with the Buffalo Bills and is concentrating on being the best teammate and player he can be. As the situation unfolds, fans will have to wait to see when Miller will return to the field.
