A Fort Worth couple, Edward Taylor and Tierrah “TT” Andrews, have been sentenced to a combined 51 years in federal prison for trafficking fentanyl, linked to at least two overdose deaths. They were charged in March and pleaded guilty in May to conspiracy to distribute fentanyl. Taylor was sentenced to 27 years in federal prison, while Andrews received just over 24 years. The couple admitted to trafficking cocaine and fentanyl pills out of a motel room and an apartment in Fort Worth. The victims, identified as T.M. and K.S., died from fatal drug overdoses after purchasing drugs from Taylor and Andrews. Law enforcement found evidence including drugs, ammunition, and firearms during a search of Andrews’ apartment. Both defendants were arrested in possession of additional drugs and firearms, despite being convicted felons prohibited from possessing firearms. The couple’s operation was uncovered through multiple sources of information reporting drug sales involving crack cocaine and fentanyl pills. Autopsies confirmed the fatal drug overdoses suffered by the victims. This information is sourced from the U.S. Department of Justice Northern District Office of Texas.
