Israeli airstrikes claimed the lives of over 150 individuals in northern Gaza and Lebanon, according to reports | Updates on Israel-Palestine conflict

Israel’s latest attacks in northern Gaza and Lebanon have resulted in the deaths of over 150 people as the humanitarian situation in both areas deteriorates amid ongoing ceasefire talks. In Beit Lahiya, Gaza, at least 93 Palestinians were killed when an Israeli attack destroyed a residential building housing displaced people. In eastern Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley, at least 60 people were killed in overnight attacks. The strikes come as Gaza remains under Israeli siege and conditions worsen for its 2.3 million residents.

Ceasefire talks in Qatar are not expected to yield results, and Israel has even moved to halt the operations of the main lifeline for Gaza’s people, the UN Relief and Works Agency. The attacks have left many injured and in need of medical assistance, with resources running low in Gaza.

In Lebanon, the attacks in the Bekaa Valley have resulted in numerous casualties, including in Sahl Allak and Ramm where homes were destroyed and people trapped under rubble. The Israeli offensive has also targeted southern Lebanon and Beirut’s suburbs in an escalation against Hezbollah.

The violence in both Gaza and Lebanon has escalated in recent weeks, resulting in a high death toll and hundreds of civilians being killed. The situation remains dire as the attacks continue with no end in sight. International aid and medical assistance are urgently needed to address the growing humanitarian crisis in both areas.
