Led by Brenen Lorient’s 15 points and strong rebounding efforts, North Texas dominated the game with 11 3-pointers, tying their season-high. Johnathan Massie and Atin Wright contributed 13 and 14 points respectively, while Grant Newell made a single-game career high of seven free throws. Head coach Ross Hodge praised the team’s performance, highlighting their understanding of game strategy. With this win, the Mean Green now hold a solo third place in the AAC standings and maintain an impressive 12-1 home record for the season.
