A group of suspected ATM thieves from Houston was arrested in Fort Worth after attempting to steal an ATM on Thursday. Fort Worth police received a tip about the crew and began surveillance, following them to a bank ATM on Hulen Street. Three suspects were seen approaching the ATM with a pry bar and a sledgehammer, attempting to pull it with tow straps. The officers intervened and arrested the suspects, as well as four additional suspects in lookout vehicles.
The seven suspects, identified as Jemarkus Bogany, Eric Davenport, Traveon Odoms-Lopez, Letrevious Pegese, Mitchell Prince, Andre Varnado, and Andreius Wynn-Farley, are charged with engaging in organized criminal activity. Bogany, Odoms-Lopez, and Wynn-Farley also face charges of evading arrest. Investigators are still working to determine if the suspects are connected to other recent ATM thefts in Fort Worth and surrounding areas.

The police had received intelligence about the crew from Houston and were able to apprehend them in the act of attempting to steal an ATM. The suspects now face serious charges for their involvement in the theft scheme. Police are looking into whether they may have been responsible for other ATM thefts in the area.
