Guglieri and Arsic then extended Texas Tech’s lead with singles victories, putting them within one point of clinching the match. Kadiri salvaged a point for Nevada with a dominant win over Pawlak in the top-flight match.
However, Texas Tech ultimately secured the win with Abboud defeating Contet on court six. Théate was leading in his match when play was abandoned. Nevada now sets its sights on a neutral-site match against Florida Gulf Coast, looking to bounce back from their defeat.
