Parents have more flexible options at Texas State University’s child development center – MySA

Texas State University’s child development center has announced that it will be introducing new hours of operation to provide parents with greater flexibility. The center, which caters to the children of students, faculty, and staff, will now be open from 7:30am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday.

This extension of operating hours will allow parents to drop off and pick up their children at more convenient times, making it easier to balance work and family responsibilities. The center’s director, Dr. Gina Zapiain, emphasized the importance of supporting parents in achieving success both academically and professionally.

In addition to the extended hours, the center will also be offering a new full-day preschool program for children aged 3-5. This program will provide a play-based curriculum that focuses on social-emotional development, language and literacy skills, math and science concepts, and physical development.

The child development center at Texas State University has become known for its high-quality care and education programs for young children. By offering expanded hours and new programming options, the center is demonstrating its commitment to supporting families and helping children thrive.

Parents are encouraged to contact the center for more information about enrollment and program options. With these changes, Texas State University is proving itself to be a leader in supporting the needs of its community and helping families achieve success.
