Elementary School in Crowley Closed on Monday Due to Nearby Gun Discovery


Crowley, Texas – J.A. Hargrave Elementary School in Crowley was closed on Monday due to an active law enforcement investigation near the campus. The Tarrant County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a shooting on North Crowley Cleburne Road at 4:30 a.m., where they found two gunshot victims in different areas. Fortunately, both are expected to survive. A gun was also found in a field on the school’s campus.

The school advised all students to stay home for the day while law enforcement searched for any other weapons on the property.
