Crowley, Texas – J.A. Hargrave Elementary School in Crowley was closed on Monday due to an active law enforcement investigation near the campus. The Tarrant County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a shooting on North Crowley Cleburne Road at 4:30 a.m., where they found two gunshot victims in different areas. Fortunately, both are expected to survive. A gun was also found in a field on the school’s campus.
The school advised all students to stay home for the day while law enforcement searched for any other weapons on the property. Staff members still reported to campus as usual, and no other schools were impacted. The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office assured that they do not believe there is any additional cause for concern.
