Wendy Williams believes Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs should finally face consequences for allegedly trying to sabotage her career

TV personality Wendy Williams has spoken out about the charges of sex trafficking and racketeering faced by music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, saying that it is “about time” he is thrown in jail. Williams has publicly feuded with Combs for years and has claimed that she has known about his behavior for some time.

Williams criticized the viral video in which Combs was seen assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, calling the footage horrific. She also accused Combs of ruining her career in 1998 by orchestrating her firing from her popular Hot 97 show.

Combs is facing a minimum of 15 years in prison for charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and fraud. Recently, more than 100 victims, including one as young as 9 years old, are expected to file lawsuits against Combs for alleged sexual abuse. The complaints by 120 accusers span over 30 years and were roughly split evenly by gender, with 25 minors involved.

Combs pleaded not guilty in a Manhattan court and was denied bail, being sent to jail immediately. Williams has previously alluded to Combs being involved in a plot to have her fired from her radio show, claims which have been echoed by Combs’ former bodyguard, Gene Deal. The Post has reached out to Combs’ representatives for comment.
